To demonstrate support for the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program in Hampton Roads, the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association Hampton Roads Chapter (AFCEA HR), established the JROTC Leadership Awards Program. The goal of the program is to provide Hampton Roads JROTC units with a means of publicly recognizing cadets who have distinguished themselves through a combination of superior academic performance, commitment in word and deed to the mission and goals of the NJROTC program, and demonstrated leadership potential within the NJROTC unit, the school, and the broader local community.
